Casa Sophia Loren Launches Unlimited Oyster Riviera Weekend Brunch and Oysteria Weekday Dinner
Casa Sophia Loren, the glamorous new signature restaurant at Sophia Loren House which occupies all four floors of the former Woo Cheong Pawn Shop is launching its new “Riviera Weekend Brunch” and “Oysteria Night” – both featuring an oyster free-flow alongside an array of other delectable treats.
Since its opening in April, the new restaurant in the beloved historic building overlooking Johnston Road has swiftly become a beacon of refined gastronomy, drawing inspiration from the legendary Italian actress Sophia Loren’s zest for life.
Riviera Weekend Brunch
From 12 to 4 pm every Saturday, indulge in the “Riviera Weekend Brunch” featuring unlimited oysters plus a choice of main course and a dessert for HK$488, complemented by a range of different free-flow drinks packages from just HK$80 per person for soft drinks up to HK$400 including premium champagne free-flows.
The new brunch offers an abundant array of salads and seafood, including unlimited fresh oysters for three hours, for a refreshing start to your weekend celebrations. The main course selection includes an enticing variety of Italian classics. For seafood aficionados, the restaurant serves sumptuous dishes such as Seafood Fettuccine, Zucchini & Bottarga, Calamarata, Sausages, Mushroom & Parmesan, Pan-seared Black Cod, Clams Sauce & Broccoli, and Lobster Spaghetti with Cherry Tomatoes & Lemon Zest that is only availableduring brunch. Meanwhile, those seeking traditional flavours and hearty options will be delighted by the Burrata Ravioli, Tomato, Aubergine & Basil and Charcoal-grilled Lamb Chop, Mashed Potato and Sautéed Cabbage.
For something sweet, enjoy a specially curated platter showcasing Casa Sophia Loren‘s Signature Nutella Tiramisu, a monthly selection of sorbets & ice cream, as well as the finest fruits in season to satisfy all your cravings.
Elevate the brunch experience by indulging in a selection of highly affordable three-hour free-flow drinks packages according to your taste. For HK$80, get unlimited soft drinks and water, or for HK$200 a choice of prosecco or sommelier’s selected white or red wines. For HK$300, the package also includes Moët & Chandon champagne, Mimosa, Bloody Mary and Espresso Martini cocktails, or for HK$400 the champagne selection is upgraded to NV Ruinart Blanc de Blancs, Brut or Rosé.
To capture the fun-loving “la dolce vita” spirit, alongside the mesmerising Hong Kong cityscape and exquisite food, live guitar music creates an ambience that is perfect for a relaxed and festive weekend.
Whilst friends and families gather, the little ones can also enjoy their weekends with special entertainment and a kid’s menu at The Stage on the second floor. Priced at HK$150 per child for a three-course brunch, captivating magic shows, face-painting sessions, and endless fun await.
Oysteria Night
The endless oyster festivities extend into the week at Casa Sophia Loren’s dedicated seafood bar. The “Oysteria Night” menu is served every Monday to Friday but is limited to just eight seats nightly from 6 to 9 pm and costs HK$588 per person for the oyster free-flow and a choice of mains.
The highlight of the weekday dinner menu is the 2-hour free-flow of David Hervé N3 oysters. Succulent and plump, these seafood treats are concealed within their round and deep shells while boasting unparalleled freshness and juiciness.
Guests can also enjoy one main dish from the menu, featuring crowd-pleasing favourites such as the Pan-seared Cod Fish with Tomato, Clams Jus and Green Asparagus, Charcoal Grilled Lamb Chop, and Burrata Ravioli with Tomato Sauce, Aubergine Cream and Basil.
Chef Valentino Ugolini will also be serving hearty pasta dishes— Homemade Tagliatelle with Duck Ragout, Rosemary & Pine Nuts, and Trenette with Japanese Clams, Roasted Cherry Tomato.
