Gustaci Pizzalounge is extending its commitment to true Italian flavours and authentic Italian pizza with the introduction of pizza making workshops to learn “the art of the pizzaiuolo” and “Pizza Tuesday” – featuring duo flavours in one pizza and the chance to spin the pizza roulette wheel and win prizes.
Gustaci’s reputation for authentic pizza was recognised by the authoritative Associazione Pizzaiuoli Napoletani whose seal of approval ensures every pizza served meets their strict criteria, from the dough to the baking process and the ingredients. UNESCO’s list of intangible cultural heritage includes the art of the pizzaiuolo, meaning the art of the pizza chef, an art which is very much respected and continued at Gustaci Pizzalounge.
Gustaci’s authentic Neapolitan pizza is celebrated this summer with the introduction of Pizza Tuesday, where diners can enjoy two lots of pizza topping on one pizza, choosing from 13 delicious options, such as the signature Calzone, and all-time favourite Margherita, 4 Formaggi and Pizza Rosa. Every pizza also comes with a complimentary bottle of Italy’s favourite Peroni beer. And for added fun, with each order of pizza, your table has the opportunity to play pizza roulette – spin the wheel for a chance to win offers and prizes.
Want to know how these fabulous pizzas are made? Gustaci are revealing some of the secrets of their highly skilled pizzaiuolo in the new Authentic Neapolitan Pizza Making Workshop. With up to four persons per workshop, and taught by Neapolitan Pizzaiuolo, Angelo d’Ambrosio, the two-hour experience is both educational and delicious, with antipasti, pizza, soft drinks and fresh juice for kids, and Prosecco and wine (two glasses per adult) included. Priced at HK$480 per adult and HK$320 per child, workshops should be booked in advance at 2981 1418.
Besides pizza, another tempting new option is Land & Sea Thursday, a decadent sharing menu bringing together the freshest seafood and one of the highest-quality free-range grass-fed natural Argentine steaks. Priced at HK$428 per two persons, the creative menu begins with a vibrant Salmone Affumicato e Ricotta di Bufala, smoked salmon with ricotta cheese and onion. Diners continue the taste of the sea with Spigola all’Acqua Pazza, featuring grilled seabass, served with sautéed spinach and a Mediterranean sauce of cherry tomato and black olives. Next to the land, with the deeply satisfying Bistecca alla Griglia – a grilled to perfection ribeye served with fluffy roast potatoes, garlic and herb butter.
Gustaci Pizzalounge also gets into the party mood mid-week with Ladies Night Wednesday. Ladies can enjoy complimentary antipasti and two hours of free flow prosecco and house red or white wine from 6.30pm to 8.30pm for just HK$120. There are also enticing offers for Aperol Spritz and Gustaci Spritz, which includes limoncello at HK$58 each.
Family weekends are important in Italian culture too, and this is no different at Gustaci Pizzalounge, where children are able to enjoy their own Bambini Kids Brunch every Sunday from 10:30am – 2:30pm. The fun session includes a surprise animal face pizza or a mini pizza set (Calzone, Margherita and Diavola mild), mini frozen gelato, free-flow juice, and activity sheets with highchairs for young children. The brunch is priced at HK$250 per child (5-12 years).
Or why not create your own festive gathering? The attractive and artistically decorated Gustaci Pizzalounge is also available for private hire, and the space can be customised for every occasion, such as birthdays, company gatherings, events and so on.
