Iconic aqua and Hutong to open in HZentre with stunning panoramic views of Hong Kong
Aqua Restaurant Group today unveiled plans for a new home for aqua and Hutong, featuring stunning panoramic views of Hong Kong, and beautiful outdoor terraces. Opening in early November, the flagship restaurants are located on the top two floors of the stylish new HZentre – beside The Peninsula and Sheraton hotels in Tsim Sha Tsui.

Sashay down aqua’s new catwalk
Aqua’s stylish new home draws its inspiration from water and Hong Kong’s magnificent harbour, brought to life by award-winning London designer Robert Angell working side-by-side with Aqua Restaurant Group founder David Yeo.
After being whisked to the 17th floor of HZentre, sashay down aqua’s dazzling mirrored catwalk and step into the glamorous dining room with its panoramic vistas of the harbour and city skyline. A new highlight is the outdoor garden terrace bar – the perfect place to sip on creative cocktails al fresco amid what is destined to be one of the city’s best rooftop bars.
In the Italian and Japanese kitchens, you can also expect an exciting new culinary direction, led by Italian Executive Chef Andrea Mura who has just arrived from London to open the restaurant.

Hutong
Hutong gets fired up in its glam new home
Famous for its occasionally fiery Northern Chinese cuisine, Hutong takes up residence in its new home in 18th floor penthouse of HZentre with sweeping views of Hong Kong’s incredible skyline and harbour. Named after the bustling alleyways of bygone Beijing, the new Hutong whilst staying true to its roots has undergone a fresh makeover with several glam new features designed by Aqua Restaurant Group founder David Yeo.
Adorning the restaurant are handcrafted embroidered Chinese lanterns inspired by the Imperial lanterns that still adorn the palace in the Forbidden City. A Chinese apothecary bar extends onto an outdoor terrace complete with opium bed sofas for decadent relaxation.
Adding to the restaurant’s fiery northern Chinese cuisine will be new signature dishes and a wider array of dim sum selections, which have proved popular in Hutong’s New York, Miami, London and Dubai restaurants.
