LPM Restaurant & Bar Appoints Adriano Cattaneo as Global Executive Chef

LPM Restaurant & Bar has welcomed a leading culinary expert to oversee its growing number of outlets around the globe. Hailing from France, Adriano Cattaneo has over 17 years of impressive experience in the F&B world, holding distinguished leading chef positions across many profound culinary institutions.

Now based in Dubai as LPM Global Executive Chef, Chef Cattaneo spent the last seven years in Hong Kong where he helmed the kitchens of Joel Robuchon. With a deep understanding of the intricacies of the local Hong Kong market, his extensive experience now enhances the global menu offering at LPM Restaurant & Bar with some exquisite new dishes set to be introduced very soon.

Guests can expect to see several new dishes from Chef Cattaneo on the menu in the coming months, all made with LPM’s freshest and highest quality ingredients. Plates to expect include King Crab and Tomato Tart, Artichoke Hearts Salad with Truffle Vinaigrette, Homemade Pecorino Tortellini with Truffle, Lemon Tart with Italian Meringue, and more.

Responsible for the entire LPM culinary program, Chef Cattaneo intends for his vision to stay true to the legendary French-Mediterranean concept, while intertwining his expertise and flare. While LPM’s new appointment will not make drastic changes to the core menu, guests can expect to find new dishes with a Michelin-starred execution complete with seasonal dishes that will consistently evolve throughout the year.

Chef Adriano earned his Culinary Arts degree in 2005 at L’Ecôle Hôtelière de Saint-Quentin, in Yvelines, France. Due to this, his culinary foundations were primarily based on French techniques and European gastronomy. Chef Adriano’s professional career began in Paris where he first gained experience at multiple Michelin-starred restaurants in iconic venues such as Epicure (3 Michelin star restaurant of Le Bristol Paris), Le Meurice, L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon, and Nomicos.

Most notably, Chef Cattaneo was mentored for a total of eight years by Chef Joel Robuchon and his team in France and Hong Kong. Additionally, Chef Adriano worked across the globe – from Europe to Asia – with some of the world’s most renowned masters such as Chef Yannick Alleno, Chef Eric Frechon, and Chef Jean Louis Nomicos.

Speaking of his new role at LPM Restaurant & Bar, Chef Adriano commented: “I am thrilled to join the LPM family and continue building the culinary department from strength to strength. While my aim is to keep LPM’s menu authenticity the same, I will be introducing more seasonal dishes and specials for guests to enjoy throughout the year. I am passionate about recruiting young talent into my team so that they evolve and grow with LPM, and can feel like part of the company’s success. It is important that we maximise such eagerness, especially with the culinary scene evolving so quickly across the globe. After 18 years working with some of the most accomplished chefs in the world, I am excited to take the next step in my career to help shape the future of LPM, an institution that I have always admired and loved.”

Nicolas Budzynski, LPM Group Operations Director LPM commented on the new appointment: “We enthusiastically welcome Adriano to the team. We cannot wait to see him consistently evolve the menu while ensuring we stay true to the LPM concept; simple, and tasty food, freshly made to order, and unique to us. Hiring a celebrity chef is not our goal; our culinary identity should remain our focus, as this is what made us pioneers of the food scene for more than a decade. Professionals like Chef Adriano are constantly creating and exploring fresh new ways of thinking in the kitchen and for managing teams too.”
