Oakwood Launches the Oakwood Premier Mobile Bar as Hallmark Experience

Hallmark brand experience respects privacy concerns amidst the pandemic – traditional club lounge services redefined with evening cocktails and canapés served directly to each apartment

Oakwood® announced the launch of its signature Mobile Bar experience at all Oakwood Premier-branded luxury serviced residences. A pioneer of the serviced apartments industry with more than 50 years of experience, Oakwood is dedicated to continuous guest innovations and hospitality excellence. The launch of this disruptive innovation sets a new benchmark for bespoke guest experiences by redefining the traditional hotel club lounge concept. Oakwood Premier Mobile Bar delivers free-flowing evening cocktails and canapés personally to guests in their private sanctuary so that guests do not have to make the journey to designated club lounges for their entitlements.

The luxurious touch was first piloted at Oakwood Premier AMTD Singapore in September 2019 to overwhelming response. With personal privacy and space increasingly treasured and made even more relevant amid the current pandemic, the Oakwood Premier Mobile Bar experience is now available at properties in Asia Pacific, including Bangalore, Guangzhou, Jakarta, Tokyo and Singapore. The roll out continues into the year with further launches at properties in Tonglu and new Oakwood Premier properties in Melbourne, Phnom Penh as well as a second property in Jakarta in 2022.

Oakwood Premier Mobile Bar makes its round every evening, delivering personalised nightcaps and delectable canapés to the comfort and privacy of each guest’s residence. A mobile mixologist offers a rotating menu of signature or personalised cocktails, including one distinctive concoction inspired by the location of each property. For example, Oakwood Premier Cozmo Jakarta offers ‘Asam Manis Martini’, including Indonesia’s exotic tamarind and cinnamon, while Oakwood Premier AMTD Singapore presents ‘Summer Rain’, a tropical elixir of Absolut Blue Vodka, coconut, grapefruit juice, pineapple and black pepper.

The daily ‘club lounge experience’ also features a thoughtfully-planned rotating selection of both hot and cold, savoury and sweet canapés. As with the cocktails, one item is inspired by the locale, such as Oakwood Premier Tokyo’s duo-cheese sampler from Hokkaido, Oakwood Premier AMTD Singapore’s chicken satay with pineapple salsa as well as Oakwood Premier Cozmo Jakarta’s grilled snapper fillet with turmeric and Indonesian sambal.

Since Oakwood pioneered the mobile bar concept at Oakwood Premier AMTD Singapore in September 2019, the trailblazing innovation has seen tremendous success.
